, on 29-06-2008 22:37 She lived in a superficial world. People need spirituality. But who can really say. It is just sad. Only 20 years old. This is an indication of how soft western society makes us. Some one with beauty and riches doing this. Hell, I probably have 20 more reasons to kill myself but I don't life is life and you have to fight and keep going. |

, on 30-06-2008 09:14 There are easier and much less painful ways to kill yourself unless of course you have a flair for dramatic exits! I think she was pushed. Why I do not know but would like to find out. I would like to hear comments from friends. She was only 20. Very sad. What a beauty she was. |
Written by val, on 30-06-2008 10:21 It seems that she was a very lonely, sensitive and serious person. She should have went to therapy but just wrote her concerns about life on the internet. At twenty years old this is a tragedy and i\'m sorry for her family. |
Written by Smiley, on 30-06-2008 11:32 So, very sad indeed. I wonder why someone so beautiful would do that. I don't understand. She had everything to live for. |

, on 30-06-2008 23:53 This is so terribly tragic but I don't believe it was a suicide. Most women do not choose such a scary and violent end, most use less violent means. I HOPE they do an investigation as it seems too early to dismiss this. It sounds suspicious to me. They need to find the instrument used to cut the tarp covering and check for fingerprints and check the location where it was left. If she truly cut the tarp herself before jumping out, the cutting instrument should still be right near the balcony, not inside of the apartment and it should contain her prints, not wiped clean. Also because the covering concealed the view inside, it would have been easy for someone to have been hiding inside, who may have pushed her off. Just because there did not appear to be a struggle inside doesn't mean anything. The suspect could have straightened out the place. Why was she barefoot? This is puzzling to me. You would think she would have at least had shoes or socks on. I feel sad for her family...... |

, on 01-07-2008 17:55 It is truly horrible yes. I hope her family eventually finds solace.Though I find it rather sad that people know nothing about her and consider it a shame because she was considered "beautiful". What if she was considered "ugly" or "plain"? If she never graced magazine covers. I doubt the public would care. Many young women commit suicide monthly and they are hardly thought of by the public. The beauty and fashion industry obviously is not all rainbows, sparkles and light so please look beyond the veneer. |

, on 01-07-2008 21:10 She was the most beautiful model I have ever seen. So sad. I think further investigation should be done. Seems to bloody the way she choose to die. unless she was on drugs. |

, on 01-07-2008 21:18 I used to believe, too, that women would choose less violent means of dying, but I know two - my friend's elder sister, and my aunt's best friend - who killed themselves by shooting themselves on the head. And then just recently, a 23-yo girl from the UK flew all the way to the US to jump off the Golden Gate Bridge. I'm not saying that Ruslana for sure committed suicide, but I am saying that it's possible. |

, on 02-07-2008 04:53 i think there is something behind it. i don't know what exactly, but i don't believe that she could commit a suicide. i didn't know her personally, but she was attending in kazakhstan the same school as my sister. they even went together to germany in 2003 on exchange program. what i've been told she started her modelling career in high school and she had a chance to travel a lot compared to her classmates, but she never boast about it. she was a simple, easy going and kind person. everyone says she couldn't make it to herself. she had mom and brother named Ruslan. poor them. they are going through terrible times. RIP Ruslana. Almaty will be waiting for you... |

RIP Ruslana. I hope they can bring you here, to your homeland. Almaty will be waiting for you... P.S. I do hope that American police authorities will investigate this case and won't leave it away... |
